Andrew has over 14 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience acting on a wide range of matters in the commercial, family and employment law spheres.
As a specialist litigator, Andrew regularly represents clients in the District, Family, and High Courts of New Zealand. He has considerable experience in acting for clients in both the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Andrew is regularly appointed by the Family Court to represent children in parenting and guardianship disputes. He has served as a council member of the Nelson Branch of the New Zealand Law Society between 2012 and 2021, and as its President from 2018-2020.
Andrew originally hails from Wellington where he previously worked in the Information Technology industry, including as a director of several IT services companies working with a wide spectrum of clients from small and medium businesses through to multinational corporates and government.

In his personal life Andrew enjoys finding new challenges and in 2016 he participated in the Fight4Victory 3, a charitable boxing event to raise funds for Victory Boxing. Andrew enjoys meeting new people, playing ultimate disc and the odd computer game.
